The top of this table is built from the wooden floors of old trucks. The wood feels coarse, and as you stroke it with your hand it might tell you its story.
The tabletop is supported by a hand-forged metal frame, which in its clean restraint forms a singular unit with the reclaimed wood.
The wood processed here is a material with a backstory; it was once the side wall of a barn, the floor of a flatbed truck, part of a half-timbered house or of a bridge. No tree has to be felled for reclaimed wood — sustainability as authentic as it can be. The material is not available in mass quantities; it is an organic and at the same time rare resource — individual and real.
The tabletop is available in seven sizes, and each is a singular one-of-a-kind.
