To protect the wooden top from stains, it is finished with an ultra-matte lacquer.
The primal feel of the old wood is underlined by the clean, sturdy form of the metal frame. This table stands securely on its handcrafted U-shaped metal legs (seta. — Metal Legs Type D).
The wood processed here is a material with a backstory; it was once the side wall of a barn, the floor of a flatbed truck, part of a half-timbered house or of a bridge. No tree has to be felled for reclaimed wood — sustainability as authentic as it can be. The material is not available in mass quantities; it is an organic and at the same time rare resource — individual and real.
