The tabletop of the itami. dining table is built from reclaimed wood, protected against stains by an ultra-matte lacquer layer.
A slim H-shaped metal frame (selo. — Metal Legs Type A) supports the wooden top. The metal legs emphasise the robust character of the table.
The wood processed here is a material with a backstory; it was once the side wall of a barn, the floor of a flatbed truck, part of a half-timbered house or of a bridge. No tree has to be felled for reclaimed wood — sustainability as authentic as it can be. The material is not available in mass quantities; it is an organic and at the same time rare resource — individual and real.
